Our Story

Built on one simple belief: good advice should be understandable

Budget Saving Bright started in a two-room office on Richardson Highway with one advisor, a filing cabinet and a promise: explain every recommendation so plainly that a client could repeat it to their family at dinner. Sixteen years later that promise still runs the business.

We are independent, which means we do not work for a bank or a single insurance carrier. We work for the person sitting in front of us — comparing the market, disclosing our fees and putting your goals ahead of any commission.

Today our team of planners, loan specialists, CPAs and insurance brokers serves clients across all fifty states from our home base in Valdez, Alaska. Some clients walk in from the harbour; others join by video call from Texas or Florida. Everyone gets the same honest, plain-English service.
